Travel directions to Umeå

Trains
There are trains  from Stockholm Central Station to Umeå Central Station, a 5-minute walk from the festival location at Umeå Folkets Hus.

Air travel
Norwegian and SAS   fly from Stockholm Arlanda Airport to Umeå City Airport.
Malmö Aviation flies from Stockholm Bromma Airport to Umeå City Airport.
Air Baltic flies from Riga to Umeå City Airport.

If you fly to Sweden with Ryanair, you will land at Stockholm Skavsta Airport. Coaches are available to Arlanda Airport via Stockholm Central Station (plan for close to a 2 hour transit between airports). Be aware that Ryanair charges a fee of 80 euros for all musical instruments. It is usually cheaper to buy an extra seat for the instrument(s), listed as EXTRA ITEM SEAT.

There are buses from Umeå City Airport to Vasaplan in front of the festival location at Umeå Folkets Hus.

Coaches
Coaches  are available from Stockholm Central Station and Stockholm Arlanda Airport to Umeå Central Station, a 5-minute walk from the festival house Umeå Folkets Hus.
