Musician Lena Jonsson from Hälsingland Province has been officially recognized for her playing by the Swedish Folklore Association. In the middle of her freelance career, Lena decided to make the trip across the Atlantic to study for a year at Berklee College of Music in Boston. Now she has gathered the cream of North America’s young roots musicians. Together with Molly Tuttle, Allison de Groot, and Brittany Karlson, Lena will treat Umeå audiences to a mix of bluegrass, American old-time, her own compositions and folk music from Canada and Sweden.
